 STATION
MANAGER:
Virgil Thompson serves as the Station Manager of WYBU. With
over 22,000 hours of television Station Management he has a
wealth of experience to make him a very capable manager. He
has worked camera positions, audio setup, served as a host
and field reporter, directed and produced, performed master
control duties, served as floor manager, and janitorial
duties. Whatever it takes to make the station a success.
Virgil has served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher,
Brotherhood Director, Youth Director, Finance Chairman, and
currently helps with the sound and lighting booth at
Summerville Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. He and
his wife Janis have 4 grown children.
